This month I've challenged myself to refresh my memory on the use of Maya after graduating university. I've been learning C++ in my spare time but was getting tired of looking at codes, so I turned to the website Picrew.me for some creative inspiration.
Whilst browsing, I came upon a particular image maker that allows me to design a room with given assets, thus a little gamer room was born.

With this design/room layout, I took to Maya immediately. I began with creating the bookshelf, which was the simplest, then the air-conditioner, which I modelled with combined references on the internet. The WFH station was fun and challenging to make, I took inspiration from my own workspace, which has a monitor stand to alleviate bad posture, the keyboard was slightly more complicated to make and I would have to edit it later. The chair was, boy-oh-boy, difficult. But so far, I am liking the way that things are going and I can't wait to complete it.
More to come~
